# Loose Ring Classic Training Snaffle

A Loose ring training snaffle with a single-jointed mouthpiece (18mm) is a type of horse bit characterised by its single hinge in the centre, which creates a V-shape when pressure is applied.

Our bit features a rectangular-shaped mouthpiece with rounded edges, designed for comfort and precision. The weighted mouthpiece minimises pressure on the cheeks while aiding in clear communication with your horse. The design also reduces the risk of cuts and chafing, and prevents the mouth from drying out by maintaining better lip contact.

The simplicity of the single joint provides direct and clear signals to the horse, which can be beneficial for straight forward communication between rider and horse. The single joint primarily distributes the pressure primarily to the sides of the tongue and bars, making it suitable for horses that respond well to a more pronounced pressure.

The weight of the mouthpiece is designed for an instant release and reward movement allowing the rider to take pressure off instantly as the bit falls from the pressure zone.
