# USA Slow Twist Balding Gag

A slow twist gag mouthpiece is characterised by its gentle twisted design. This design incorporates gradual, spiral like twists in the metal, which creates multiple points of contact within the horse's mouth. This help provide more control than a standard mouthpiece, the added texture creates additional pressure points on the horse’s tongue, bars, and lips, encouraging a more responsive reaction to the riders' aids.

Our bit features a rectangular-shaped mouthpiece with rounded edges, designed for comfort and precision. The weighted mouthpiece minimises pressure on the cheeks while aiding in clear communication with your horse. The design also reduces the risk of cuts and chafing, and prevents the mouth from drying out by maintaining better lip contact.

Although some horses may be ridden in this all the time, it can also be used 2-3 times to help increase your horse's response before returning to a normal mouthpiece.
