Wide Curb Chain
A Wide Curb Chain is a vital component used in conjunction with our 3 or 4 ring gags or our pelham range - helping to enhance communication between the rider and the horse.
Designed with a broader link structure, this chain provides a more even distribution of pressure across the horses chin, promoting comfort while effectively moderating the bit’s action.
The wider design ensures the chain sits smoothly against the horses jaw, allowing for a more gentle and responsive riding experience.

Designed to prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth - helping you get control of the lower jaw, with a wide surface area to make it softer for the horse.
We highly recommend switching between a leather curb strap and a wide curb chain to alter the pressure points being applied to your horse
