The weight of the mouthpiece is designed for an instant release and reward movement allowing the trainer to take pressure off instantly as the bit falls from the pressure zone.

Best Suits
We tend to use this bit on horses around 14"3 or 4 years old upwards - due to the 18mm thickness making the bit slightly too big for the smaller mouthed younger horse.

We’ve found this bit to be fantastic. A heap of our babies have ended up staying in it with just the addition of a running rein later on. They all appear to be very comfortable in it, nice weight too!
This is a great bit for schooling the younger horse that is not use to a gag action particularly OTT when sometimes more direct contact is needed to find the lesson outcome and then to release and reward the horse for their efforts
