We are thrilled to announce that Ainsley Saddlery is donating a very special saddle to the 2024 Macmillan Coffee Morning Auction on Thursday 24th October at 11am, taking place at Guards Polo Club. This isn’t just any saddle—it’s a piece of polo history, played by none other than Adolfo Cambiaso, the greatest polo player of all time, during the 2022 and 2023 English seasons.
The saddle is an Adolfo Cambiaso MVP Series 2 Freedom Foam 19”. With features like interchangeable gullet plates for the perfect fit, freedom of shoulder movement, pain-free withers and spinal clearance, and optimal weight distribution, this saddle ensures both horse and rider experience unparalleled comfort and stability. To make it even more special, Cambiaso’s initials are engraved on a name plate at the back of the saddle, adding to its exceptional provenance.
All proceeds from the auction will be donated to Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity known for their tireless work in helping people living with cancer. Macmillan provides essential support, from financial advice to emotional care, ensuring that nobody faces cancer alone. Every penny raised from this auction will help fund the incredible work Macmillan does for cancer patients and their families.
